I tend to agree with CharleyJ. Brightsides is too glossy to use for the interior. Stick with a mat finish I redid my interior with two coats of Bin 1,2,3 and two coats of Pittsburgh Interior, pearl finish, "Cream Puff" is the color. You can get oil base if you ask for the commercial grade....

Waterless brush cleaner. I would not use it often but it will clean the fender so that you can give a good waxing with something like "fender cleaner and polish" or some sort of plastic protector. Or you could do what I do... cover them with one of those fleece fender covers.

I agree with Early Light. Skip the 5200 and go with epoxy. Set it in thickened epoxy then tab it in with biaxial and epoxy.

Buy a couple of kerosene lamps, switch to LED lighting for anchor and incandescent and you should be OK. Also remember, a 90 ah battery is only good for 45 amps for regular discharges. Otherwise, you will start damaging the battery.

Just an opinion: 9" rollers are good for flat walls. The 7" roller is much better for the curved hull. Jamestown distributors sells yellow foam rollers that work well for oil based paints and epoxies. I use a standard metal tray with plastic liner to get the thin coat you want for topsides...

For years, based on feedback from riggingonly.com, I have been using pipe dope. The one with Teflon. Three years after rebuilding the mast on my Sea Sprite, the fasteners came out with no problem and none of them came out on their own.

The other boat is either a Luders 24 or 27 (water line length) 38 or 40' boat. I initially thought it was a Luders 16 but it is too long so I did a search. The Luders 33 is 33' LOA glass boat (classic plastic) with moderate overhangs and sleeps six. There are a couple of 24s for sale on yacht world.

It is not a SS 30, The 28 had 3 opening ports, the 30 had 4 and the 34 had either 2 or 3 opening ports and two fixed. Otherwise, I do not have a clue to what it is.

My guess would be that you may have added too much hardener. That will cause it to heat up and the head would result in the brittleness. That is just a guess.
