Heard back from the Sailmaster owner- boat as been sold and is now on Jamestown here in RI. Certainly hope the new owner appreciates the boat. It's my own fault, should have moved much sooner on it but wasn't sure it was the right boat. There wil be others.....

It was a quick easy way to check general pricing etc. As I recall you can

If I can get the boat at the right price I would most likely go head with the soda blasting - at first glance it seem pricey but the job gets done completely and the hull should be in much condition than if I end up getting sloppy and gouging it etc.

amazing what a Dark 'n Stormy does for my patience...

The summer pictures were supplied by current owner - the cold, bleak dreary ones I took yesterday.

Tarp is on the cabintop in summer ones due to leaks in the ports which are removed for repair in some of the later pics.

Getting this to work entitles me to another Dark N Stormy,,,,,,

In 1994 (75th anniversary) the Narragansett Bay S Class published a history with a class registy in it - it was pretty complete. Unfortunately I never got a copy - you might try seeing if the HMM has a copy in the library.

having used materil from sevea sources on my S - and knowing others who also have - go with Jim Reinecke's product. He might be a bit more exspensive but both his finishingand overall quality more than make up for the difference.

to add a bit of info to Adam's earlier post - the Marlin was Sid's revsion of hs father's Fish whch came in 2 different cabin configurations.
