Thanks Milt! I'll give it a try when the weather gets a little more bearable. I'll be sure to put up some photos if I'm successful.

Re: Triton Bimini
Milt, Thanks for the info! It's really amazing to be able to get in touch with someone whose boat you just saw on the internet! I sure would appreciate those dimensions if you get a chance. I'm very glad to hear that a stock bimini can work. Unfortunately the prices seem to have gone up considerably...

Triton Bimini
Has anyone had any luck with installing any of the manufactured bimini tops on a Triton? I've been trying to determine if any of the pre-made sizes would work without interfering with the mainsheet (end of boom) and the jibsheets. http://connect.taylormadeproducts.com/biminguide/html/ Maybe I'll hav...

in water winterizing
I will be leaving my Triton in the water this winter in the Northern Chesapeake. I have a few questions about winterizing: 1-Will the cockpit drain hoses be OK since they remain full while the boat is floating? 2-I installed a lavac head over the summer but didn't complete the holding tank install. ...

Re: Introductions
To the last two replies: Yes, most of the the exterior wood was painted red by the previous owner. I haven't stripped the cockpit comings yet, but when I took the paint off the toerails, the wood (mahogany?) was in really bad shape...cracked in many places and rotting in some. Also, we had been havi...

Re: Chesapeake trip summer-2009
I believe this picture was taken just after leaving the mouth of the Potomac heading north. She was going south.

Chesapeake trip summer-2009
I'm new to the forum and thought I'd put up some more pictures. Here are some from our 200 mile trip up Chesapeake Bay last summer. We bought the boat in Hampton, VA and sailed all the way up to the Bohemia River near Chesapeake City, MD. This was our first "long" trip so we stayed within ...

Introductions
Hello everyone, new member here. I've been enjoying this forum for a while and finally got around to joining up. I wanted to introduce me and my boat. My fiancee and I bought Triton #670 last spring. We sailed her all summer and brought her from Norfolk up to the north end of Chesapeake Bay. I've be...
