I went with slow rather than fast. It's slooow. Maybe it's the right choice the the big pieces, but for small stuff I waste a lot of time. I'm into my fifth gallon of the stuff this project and pretty happy with it. Little or no blush, and pretty predictable. Yes it's slow, but a half quart still g...

Thinking about this, I would probably have a number of distribution manifolds in accessible locations, and run non-stop lines from there to each outlet. Compared to copper the tube is cheap, you can run extra, in bundles if needed.

I'm the opposite......on a boat the added electrolytic aspect almost mandates a "plastic" of sorts. Also the flexible nature would allow the hidden runs to be solid, and the connections to be accessible.

If it was me it would be drilling with a bit the width of the required opening at the ends and as close together as possible in between. I would then remove the remaining material in between with a Dremmel on low RPM with a Zip bit in it. But I'm sure the pro's here will have the marine version of a...

Yup, that's the way I would do it. As for exceeding the length of the turnbuckles, you will have to rig temporary lines or extensions to same.....one at a time. There isn't a lot of force on them with the mast vertical and sitting at the dock. Even the lowers by themselves are enough to keep it from...

Not a bad idea. I was going to use thimbles on the four lines that ride the ring, but nylon could work too. Advantage of steel wire with snap shackles is that once you DO get it dialed in, it stays put.

The age of the boat is irrelevant. It rots if it gets wet. Maybe older boats leak more, although I have had brand new boats leak. There is really no alternative.
