thank you, looked at that link earlier in my search. it has great info but does not specifically list keel width that i could see...(i am blind or so my wife says) so it may be there. From those drawings is where I guessed about keel being about 8 ft.
Thank you for help.

Looking for some help. I am building a trailer for my Alberg 30 and I am working on keel support. Can anyone tell me the length of the keel from just forward of the rudder shoe to the front of the keel? And also the keel width? My best guess from looking at pictures is about 9-10" wide and abou...

I have an Alberg 30 with some worn sails whichs adds to the weather helm....I moved my mast forward 3/4 of an in or so. This really helped reduce weather helm especially in gusty conditions. Just a FYI....some weather helm issues are not the fault of the boat but rather sail condition and rigging ar...

Are your frames anodized? if so no need to polish. If not I suggest you get the cleaned up and then clear powder coated, if you polish them and then subject them to salt water they will corrode, they will get white and ashy. I had some of my mast step pieces clear poweder coated after they were soda...

That's .25 or so each, so 1/2 amp total....much better than no lights and the 2 55w units they replaced. They shed enough light to make things quite a bit safer on deck at night.Surveyor wrote:I say you did good! That is a lot of light for 0.2 amps and $60

This boat is at our marina and have been wondering for a few years what it is, I have never seen it move or owners of it. I figured someone here would know what it was. I went with mechanical fittings. Because I am doing it myself obviously mechanical was used. when figuring out pricing, I only spent about $300-350 on mechanical sta-lok over swage fittings. By the time you buy the swage and then pay to have it done , you are only saving about 20-25 per connection. ...
