Re: Alberg 30 Keel Dimensions

thank you, looked at that link earlier in my search. it has great info but does not specifically list keel width that i could see...(i am blind or so my wife says) so it may be there. From those drawings is where I guessed about keel being about 8 ft.

Thank you for help.

Alberg 30 Keel Dimensions

Looking for some help. I am building a trailer for my Alberg 30 and I am working on keel support. Can anyone tell me the length of the keel from just forward of the rudder shoe to the front of the keel? And also the keel width? My best guess from looking at pictures is about 9-10" wide and abou...

I was able to get out sailing last sunday and hope to again tomorrow. Went out single handed and raced about an 8 mi course. Last Sunday was 49 and overcast here on the Southern Chesapease, chilly but fun! I have been having the races with plastic classics, Bristol 27, Alberg 30(me) and last Sunday ...

Are your frames anodized? if so no need to polish. If not I suggest you get the cleaned up and then clear powder coated, if you polish them and then subject them to salt water they will corrode, they will get white and ashy. That's .25 or so each, so 1/2 amp total....much better than no lights and the 2 55w units they replaced. They shed enough light to make things quite a bit safer on deck at night.

I went with mechanical fittings. Because I am doing it myself obviously mechanical was used. when figuring out pricing, I only spent about $300-350 on mechanical sta-lok over swage fittings. By the time you buy the swage and then pay to have it done , you are only saving about 20-25 per connection. ...
