A Way to Build a Holding Tank...

Came across this interesting project.

You'll need a PDF reader to see the holding tank project - it opens up as a PDF document.

Rather laborious but definitely makes the most of the space you have...

I thought that was a nice clear walkthrough. The location is also a good candidate if I get fancy and replace the portapotti someday. Might also be a good method for making tanks that make the most use of the spaces under the sole or under the settees?

It reminded me of a neat way a friend of mine made holders for jerrycans in his cockpit locker. He used the jerrycans themselves as the "plugs", waxed them, and glassed over about the bottom quarter. That made sort of "cups" they fit into, and then a strap across the upper middle holds them securely in place.
