I want a cool boat hauler too...

Post by cantstopnow »

I have a hard time because of a weak back moving my boat project around the yard on its trailer, so, I decided to build an inexpensive boat hauler.
The first thing I did was to find inspiration from a similar project that I thought would work for me too.

This seemed like a good fit.

I was able to get the vehicle for free.

And with a little work adding a 1 7/8" ball .......

Viola!

Excellent work!

It is amazing what a little lawn tractor can do... just not so good at pulling heavy stuff up hill. (Grin)

This reminds me of the time I referred to Tim's little tractor as a riding mower and was soundly advised it was a "GARDEN TRACTOR". Never cast aspersions on a man's tractor. :D

The guy that gave it to me said that it was junk, but a battery charger and carb cleaner proved otherwise.

One man's junk is another man's plunder, or something like that.

I actually own several large tractors but they are never at the house when I want them.

I can see it hanging off the davits now.

It's tough to beat a good farm tractor for getting work done.

I can see it hanging in the davits now.
