What is she?

Post by Quetzalsailor »

At Knight's Marine in Rockport ME., last week.
Looks like a Bill Tripp boat from the '60s. Candidates include a LeComte Medalist 33, but the metalwork does not look right. Or a Tripp-Lench 29, or a Seafarer 30.

I'm going with T/L 29.

I can confirm that Teal is a 1962 Tripp-Lentsch 29.

Rachel

PS: The Seafarer 30 would have a more traditionally shaped transom.

She is a T/L for sure. Check the the combing aft board and there should be a ID plate there with a hull # and manufacture date. It should have the Lentsch Shipyard marking on it. I have owned hull #3 for the last 15 years.
