Talk about favorite or hated suppliers, recommend good materials or sources, or anything of the same ilk. This is also a good place to suggest unique ideas and innovations you may have come up with.

Large-Diameter Forstner Bits (that won't break the budget)

Post by Tim »

Previous posts here have asked about large-diameter Forstner bits that don't cost a fortune (under $20).

Woodcraft has a selection of large bits that are reasonably priced. They are good for occasional or one-time use as required, but don't expect heirloom quality for this price.

Thanks for the link. I need to make (2) 0.375" cuts so I expect even the cheap ($18.99) bits to work just fine.

and then while I was browsing around on the website...
