Electrical supplies source

Talk about favorite or hated suppliers, recommend good materials or sources, or anything of the same ilk. This is also a good place to suggest unique ideas and innovations you may have come up with.

Electrical supplies source

Post by bcooke »

Okay, I have spent another fruitless mid-morning running around trying to get together a variety of electrical supplies. Store A has b but not c. Store D has c but not e. Store F has... well you get the idea. I am wasting too much time tracking down electrical components.

Anyone have a good source online? I don't need fancy regulators I just need #8 guage wire (color options would be good), suitable connectors, shrink wrap (and not just the 3 inch lengths - you know, real quantities for real jobs), etc. (all just examples).

Jamestown has some, Hamilton has a little. RadioShack has garbage. Does anyone have Everything?

Pay more and order from West. Their catalog is relatively comprehensive.

Someone like Jackrabbit Marine could probably provide you everything you needed too, if you called them (their online catalog is so bad you should probably call them anyway).
