Florida sailing

So it looks like I'm going to be in the Tampa area for a week or so in January. I think we have some folks from that general area on the forum, no?
So I'm wondering how the sailing in that area is in January. Any suggestions for a good place to look to charter a boat for a daysail? Any of you all sailing in that area who want to take a few (three, to be exact) bums out sailing? :-D
Just feeling out the situation down there. Advice appreciated!

The NETA member list has at least one Triton and probably a couple that would be in the area. I could pass along an inquiry... ;-)

There are three Tritons registered with NETA in the immediate area. If it works out feel free to torment us with pictures of sunny sailing in January.

Unfortunately there has been a change of plan, and I'll be staying behind in the cold cold north while my wife and son enjoy the sunny south.
Maybe another time!

Nathan,
I was out sailing with a friend this weekend who in conversation mentioned having chartered a boat with his wife in Tampa a decade ago. I picked his brain and he came up with "St. Petersburg Yacht Charters." Here is a website:
http://www.stpeteyachtcharters.com/. He suggested that there are plenty of sailboat rentals/charters in the area, and that you should not have a real problem finding some place with daily rentals.
