GREYHAWK's wicked good adventure

Six men sail a leaky little boat to Maine...

Sailing up the Chesapeake through heavy showers, beating down Delaware Bay, reaching though an offshore gale, sailing in the fog at night, a spinnaker run across Cape Cod Bay ... read all the details here:

Thanks--a good read!

I couldn't help admiring those gorgeous new chainplates and gleaming mast paint.

Yeah, I had absolutely no worries about the rig (other than having to use the checkstays to stop the mast pumping, and making sure we didn't overtension them and invert the stick). That was a nice feeling!

Enjoyed that a lot!

Also peeked in your San Juan project, nice job. There is an active SJ21 fleet on our lake. Recently I was out on a friend's Catalina 25 in about 15 knots. Two old timers, maybe 75+, on a San Juan 21 were sailing circles around us.
