She looks excellent! Happy launching.

Are you able to remove the long bunk support for painting beneath?

I used a cradle to support the bow, and dropped the bunk boards in the front, painted, then reset the boards, and droppped the rear boards, painted, and reset. The cradle goes back on the other Sabre now, so that I can load it (the Sabre) on the trailer.

Larry,

That's an amazing difference! I'm assuming that this is the boat that came from Edgewater, MD. It's amazing what new paint will do with these boats. Thanks for the pictures.

Actually no, this is another Sabre, from Missouri that was on the trailer. I had to take it to get the trailer. I'll probably sell this one.
Here's the Edgewater boat before any painting.

Thanks all, for your comments, and your expertise. Much of the knowledge I needed came from this forum.

Launched Monday the 20th. Left the launch marina at 6 pm. She floats, and sailed well until we ran aground at the entrance to Broad Creek in Deltaville, Va at midnite. Hooray for TowboatUS full coverage. We ran out of gas while trying to float off of the mud, and they towed us in to the new slip. Tied up at 2 am. Great day!!!!!! Photos will be posted.
