Every boater's nightmare....



Nice ending to the story, though.

The nice ending has some interesting mods and looks like a real cruiser.



Do the west coast Tritons have a slightly different shape to the cabin top or is it just me? It might be the all white color but the joining of the lower and upper parts of the cabin look a bit different than I am used to. The more I look at it the more I think it is just me.

I think there are subtle differences. The forward-lower coachroof looks to have more crown than an EC boat. Then there's that whole raised-headroom thing down the middle of the aft-rear portion.

And don't forget, Britton, that your late-model Triton has an entirely different deck mold than either the West Coast Tritons or the earlier East Coast Tritons. Your forward section is much higher, and shaped quite differently, with a less distinct height difference between the raised portion and the forward portion, as well as a more rounded shape at the forward termination at the foredeck. So you're understandably more used to looking at that particular shape.

The West Coast deck shown in the photo above is pretty similar if not virtually identical to the earlier Triton deck mold (other than the "power bulge" in the main cabin), with a very low forward section.
