When I finished the decks on Heart of Gold, I also used Interdeck (beige). It has a uses fairly fine particles in a sufficient quantity to provide excellent traction. In the end, I added a slight amount of texture to what came in the can (personal preference).
I really like Interdeck: it applies without fuss, has proved extremely durable, and is easily touched up if needed. I particularly like the classic look of the beige which complements the white lines nicely.
