Nice to see you here David.

I recently bought a cheoy lee Offshore 31 ketch. Do you know if your 32 ketch is related? I'm in the process of replacing the wooden masts with aluminum, and refitting for a voyage in a couple years. Maybe we can exchange ideas.

Hi all,

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry it took so long to reply, been kinda busy. Will post pictures soon however dont expect too much, she is and old neglected girl. Most of what I have done is hidden but important, I installed a brand new Yanmar and am working on upgrading the electrical. I hope to haul out after the first of the year to replace thru hulls, cutlas bearing etc. Will also pull the sticks at that time. Will keep you posted as I make progress, Chuck, do you know who designed your CL. Mine is considered an Offshore 32. I know that there are a few with different designers. Mine was designed by Ray Richards. Feel free to drop me a line any time at dsmylie957 at yahoo dot com.

Ah, but those are the best kind! All the better to compare, and to "ooh and ahh" when you do get further along :) And we're all interested to see the "hidden" work too.

Hi David

I don't know who designed the Cheoy Lee Offshore 31. It is modification of a Bermuda 30, which was designed after a Hershoff 28. I didn't think they made an Offshore 32.

Here (I hope) are pictures of my 31 wih the PO flying 2 spinnakers (the wrong way)
