My boat was previously painted white with Interlux perfection 2-part LPU paint. I did a poor job, though, due to bugs and humidity. I want to repaint it a different color, too.
The color I want is a light blue. The lightest blue in Perfection is lauderdale blue which is still a little too dark. Is there any reason I couldn't mix up say 2:1 or 1:1 lauderdale blue with white?
I know that Awlgrip makes a color exactly what I want, but I would have to prime first to use Awlgrip, where with Perfection I could just sand and paint.
Also, if anyone has any pictures of a boat painted in lauderdale blue I'd appreciate it.
Thanks.

There should be no reason you can't create your own custom mix.
