Porter Cable Random Orbiter Sander 7336

Just curious: Has anyone had any issues with this sander. The 7335 was discontinued, and now the 7336 is what is available. The first sander I got only lasted 14 hours before it totally died on me. I got a replacement one and that one lasted about 90 hours and died on me today. I can't figure out what is going on with these. Aren't these supposed to last way longer than that before fixing and the wear and tear begins?

I have the 7345 new 5". Works great. I've done the decks and topsides of my Islander 21' and lots more. It goin' strong.
