NETA Website Feedback

Post by dasein668 »

I'm looking for any feedback on the NETA website. I am currently working (s-l-o-w-l-y-!) at rebuilding the site?hopefully making it a bit more interactive, as well as easier to maintain.

So I'd liek to solicit any feedback about the existing site?good or bad?or ideas that you might like to see integrated into a new-and-improved NETA site.

Current site lives here: www.pearsontriton.com

Thanks!

Nathan,

FWIW, I actively like how you have it laid out - nice clean look, simple to get around, intuitive. RSS feeds are nice so you don't have to keep checking back to find out when something changes. I'm not a Triton owner, but I still like the site. Nice work. :)

I like the site as well.

One minor thing: The page does not scroll down fully on the first few log entries for Brock's Good Goose article.

Ok, that IS odd. When I click the link embedded in my previous post, it does work fine. However, when I select the link from the articles menu I get the abbreviated page (it stops just below the date for the August 14 log).

If I refresh the page, it works fine.

Yes, I am sober. Thank you for wondering.

I often get an abbreviated page on the home page when it first loads. Refreshing once or twice usually corrects the problem.

Work is overrated.

Most everything you read on the Internet is wrong.

Nice site Nathan. Top marks for usability and interest. It kept me hooked the whole way through. It's nice to see so many Tritons in Maine.

Will the site have a "photos" section? I sure hope so. Well done!

Seems fine now. I was away all weekend, so it's possible the site was down briefly.

An update for the Triton owner list. I own and sail Triton 662, in Seaford Virginia. Here is a better picture
