Thanks to a nice invitation from Mike Haas, Tim, Britton, and I were treated to a nice sail yesterday aboard Figment.
Tim arrived at my house in Portland at 0445 and we headed south, picking up Britton along the way in Amesbury. Despite some brief confusion about where we were going, we soon met up with Mike and hopped aboard Figment. We delivered her from Clinton CT to Branford CT where she was to be hauled the following day, a distance of about 15 miles. The day was a bit grey, but generally dry and a lovely time appeared to be had by all. Thanks Mike!
Heading out the river from Clinton.
As usual, Britton was a total tiller-hog, never once surrenduring control of the helm!
Tim seems to think he knows something that none of the rest of us do...
Everybody smile and say "[censored]!"
Cap'n Mike sez: "pole out that jib, mehearties!"
Grey, but dry.
Sadly, nobody had any fun.
Ok, roll in the jib Mike. Oh. Wait...
So were we...
Moored fore-and-aft to a bundle of rotting twigs.
Triton Lodestar in Branford. Anybody know anything about her?

Great Pictures! Looks like a fun day. The boat had the top four members of the forum in terms of numbers of posts.

I counted 10,338 between the four of you.
I guess there was plenty to talk about!

Figment,
I am trying to squeeze a boom vang and (really dreaming) some sort of rigid vang into the new boat. What mounting dimensions did you end up using for your boom vang and kicker (how far out from the mast and down from the boom). I have used the K0750 model on my current boat but think I read that you choose the K1000 model for your Triton. Are you happy with how it has replaced your topping lift? Thanks, Bill
