Bobstay Question

Hello all! Got what is probably a dumb question about my new bobstay fitting. The prior fitting was falling apart and in my opinion radically under-built for the job I ask it to do. http://picasaweb.google.com/Idon84/CosmicDancerRebuildYEAR1#5206618845504690690 I have purchased a new fitting to be i...

When we bought our boat it had water tanks built into the keel. They were no longer usable due to osmosis inside the hull leaving a nasty black film in where the hull was blistering inside. Never got a chance to taste the water in them. I toiled over rebuilding or replacing and read a few articles o...

Just found this post. I've been in numerous races with this boat. She is well driven and can handle any crazy start that is thrown her way. My guess... The powerboat was mesmerized by the size & speed and ignored the "rules of the road." I know I was mesmerized once by her. On time off...

I'm not an expert here FOR SURE but I think if my hull was deformed from a jack-stand (better go adjust mine now) I would try to reshape the area by applying pressure from the convex side of the dent and then build a sturdy hat shaped stiffener to correct? Of course you need to have access from the ...

The tube extends through the stern approximately 15". It's quite deep. This is the best picture I have of the inside part of the tube. Shaft is long gone and now just the tube protrudes out and ends right before the grease coupling in the picture below. http://picasaweb.google.com/Idon84/Cosmic...
