I'm trying to remove the rest of the chrome from my port lights. I'm using muriatic acid and a battery charger set at 2 amp.
It works good while it's running but the charger keeps tripping out. Any solution? Thanks.

Is there any special paint I need to use on the inside of a icebox I made and fiberglassed inside?

The next day I water washed it and mostly just sanded the high spots it still has a lot of shiny grooves
between the weaves. I wasn't sure how to rough that up. Can I just use a new steel wire hand brush?
Or should it be stainless?

I recored the side decks on Triton and put down 3/8" Balsa core and two layers of
Biaxial 1708 mat. Is that enough or should I add more.

Re: Recore or not?
Just that it seemed soft or mushy when walking across it.
The core is not wet but it's been inside for the last 15 years I was told.
So just cut the fiberglass up into small squares to make it easyer to get out?

Is there anything wrong with putting the genoa track on top of the toe rail on my Triton?
And is the original 30" track ok or go with a new 4' or 5' track?
Thanks for your help.

Navel brass or silicon bronze chain plates?
I have a Triton and would like to move the chain plates to the outside.
A local suppier has Navel Brass the Silicon Bronze would be harder to
get and would be 1/4" x 2" I was thinking 1/4" x 1 1/4" Navel Brass.
Thanks for your help.
