Local industrial surplus yards sometimes have great stuff. I've been getting lots of good used tools, scrap stainless steel, and today found 4 1" bronze ball valves in good condition at $20 for all four. Also got stainless steel arc welding rod for 50 cents/lb. I keep hoping they will have stainless chain, but no luck yet. They also sell drill bits, taps and dies, etc by the pound. CHEAP! Many of them are new or barely used.
