Faces in the boat...
This poor guy looks a bit put out. Perhaps it's because it looks as if he's either been riddled with bullets, or has a stunning case of adolescent acne.

hmmmmmm, when I saw a face in a pic of Glissando a couple of years ago, someone suggested that I was "strange".
That's not acne, it's war paint.
The PO sold Allen a tale about the origin of the name. The REAL story is that "Kaholee" was a legendary Navajo warrior who drank himself to death, and so his spirit was cursed to spend eternity afloat, watching other people drink.

While I find it simply incredible to believe that I could ever have suggested such a thing, that doesn't insulate me from being called "strange" now, or in the future!Figment wrote:hmmmmmm, when I saw a face in a pic of Glissando a couple of years ago, someone suggested that I was "strange".
No, no, of course not. Don't be ridiculous; I just listen.#218 wrote:You're not talking to it are you?

You may all get a group rate at the local counseling clinic.

You will have to provide them with a link or contact, I don't think they will seek help on their own. ;)Oscar wrote:You may all get a group rate at the local counseling clinic.

Re: Faces in the boat...
I don't have a picture and have since installed the part but about 2 months ago I was working late to get some cabinets together in the settee area. When I lifted my head out into the cockpit to grab the next piece of wood an alien was looking back at me. Turned out the alien looked more like ET and the face was from the grain pattern on the wood.
I feel embarrassed saying this but I was quite surprised and scared like a child when I saw it.
Wish I had a picture, and a hidden camera to record the reaction.

Circe seems to be excited about the new ideas taking shape...
(Why is it that Tritons in particular seem to present so many "faces"? I guess it's a combination of so many being worked on and their natural gift of personality.)

You know, as a lurking physician and reader of these posts for the first time (at midnight)- I am sure we can get all of you published in a Psychiatry journal somewhere...
I knew this forum was somehow different.

Re: Faces in the boat...
There is citation in the Journal for Abnormal Construction of a study done by the Center For Gnomic Research entitled, Drone. How Sanding with Earplugs and Respirator is a Method of Sensory Deprivation Leading to Psychosomatic Manifestations of Silliness. This study furthers the work of famed silliologist Bernard Boof PhD. He established his famous "Silliness Quotient" based on his understanding of Monty Python and his relationship with his pet armadillo during his seminal work at the University of Esperanza. Clearly we here at the Plastic Classic Forum have a standard of determined silliness that can even be felt by the average lurking layman nee "physician". Just to be complete, the findings of the study on SERMSDPMS found that there was conclusive if not determinate proof of a correlation if not an actual causation between time spent around humming things and the incidence of facial recognition in non-facial objects. I am only here to help. Boats are difficult and serious. Water will kill you. Drone on big brother.

Wow Robert- that was impressive. If you would have come in to see me today, I would have written you up a consult. No problem. Umm Nurse, could you come in here for a moment?...

Did you happen to read his profile? He was Kevin Patterson's crew mate aboard Mouse from the book "The Water in Between".Rachel wrote:(From http://alberg30.blogspot.com/, where things are a happenin')

This cheeky stove, eager to please as he may be, is clearly in denial of his decrepit surroundings.

It must be an alcohol stove, 'cause that is a bad neighborhood. He does sport the hipster goatee knob with some panache.

From the "ericson 27 project "
Mr Bill's Eskimo cousin standing in a snow field.
I am here all week, two shows this Sunday. Bring the kids, dogs are free.
Is this mike on?
Hello?
Hello......?
Hey, where did everyone go? That was funny...
Don't ya get it? The opening in the chain plate looks like a little open mouth, and the non skid looks like snow, if ya squint and drink some more it would be real funny. No, I am serious, really funny.
Oh well, back to looking for rabbits in the clouds, and skulls in the ice cubes. This eye magic nation of mine is tricky to control.

This could be from a boat galley, but is actually from another type of "Plastic Classic" project - a mid-70s molded fiberglass camper. I couldn't resist posting it. It just looks so scandalized!
