I have these odd structures on the inside of my hull, two forward, and two aft, and I have no clue what they are. I have known they were there for over a year, but until I removed the last of the vee berth, I could not get a clear picture of the ones forward.
They are raised areas with a rectangular footprint, approximately 4" x 6" and 1" high. They are symetrically placed port and starboard, fore and aft. These pictures are not entirely clear, but maybe they will help.
Any ideas?

They look like built-in mounting areas for some sort of factory-optional equipment, perhaps. I would guess they are wooden blocks hidden beneath the glass, possibly backing blocks for mounting through hulls? Maybe there was a full head option or something, and these blanks are for the intake and discharge fittings?
Not really sure.

I wasn't really sure what to make of it, but that does make sense. These boats had several different options, and that is where a head would like have been installed. I guess threre's nothing I really need to do with them, except to avoid mistakingly placing a bulkhead on top of them. Thanks.
